IMAP server:
IMAP server or Internet message access protocol are basically used to manage mailbox from different devices. Digital world makes everything simple and portable. Many devices like Smartphone’s can be used to check your mailbox while busy in some other work or travelling or anything. Mainly, mail is left in server of mail box.
Web based mail:
This mail service allows many users to log into email account using different web browser to send and receive email. To access an email, internet connection must be there to access. Many email support providers are Mail, AOL, I Cloud, Hotmail etc.

POP 3 or Post Office Protocol is a mail protocol used by different client to read messages on mail server.
